Central Missouri State University rsburkett{at}earthlink.net This article presents the design of, and students' responses to, a Web-enhanced course titled "Inquiry Methods Integrating Science, Mathematics, Technology, and Society (MSTS) in Elementary Grades." The course was part of the pilot test of a novel approach to a compressed-time alternative pathway masters of arts in teaching degree for career-change students in elementary education. Students' responses indicated this approach to MSTS and inquiry served to unify many of the other courses in the degree program.
